What is the parking like?
There is metered parking all along jackson street, van ness ave, and polk street. Going west across van ness, there is 2 hour parking. There also is a parking garage on jackson at the medical art's building and one on polk and jackson.

How often should I get a skin treatment?
We recommend once a month for clients who really want to improve upon the texture and conditions of their skin.  Our skin renews itself, every 30 days if we're 30, and can even take up to 60 days the older we get.  We constantly want renewed skin, so we can get the old dehydrated skin cells off, and new fresh ones to the surface.

Will I breakout after a treatment?
The myth that facials break you out is an old one that needs to stop! You should not have breakouts after, but have the best feeling skin ever.  If you break out it is because your skin is now exfoliated and what was already in the skin is purging out of the skin at a faster rate. Just ask me about my high frequency machine, that will help nip any break outs in the bud!

Is it ok if I wear makeup to my appointment?
Of course! We will make sure we get your skin nice and cleansed before we begin.

Can I wear makeup after my appointment?
We recommend that you wait as long as you can before applying makeup so your skin can breathe and accept all of the amazing treatment products we applied.  

 

Do you do extractions?
Always! Those impactions aren't going to remove themselves!

 

Do extractions hurt?
We will apply pressure to the follicle, but extractions should never feel too painful. If we can't get the extraction out, then we won't. This means you are too dehydrated, and we need to address that in order to ensure easy impaction removal.

 

Can I go out into the sun after my treatment?
Avoiding the sun should happen on a daily basis.  We will always apply sunscreen to your skin, so know that you will be protected.  If we do a peel or microdermabrasion, avoiding direct sun for at least a week is imperative so you do not get hyper-pigmentation, or sun spots.

 

How long does my hair need to be for waxing?
At least 1/4 of an inch long.

 

Do you have gift certificates?
Yes we do!

 

Where are you located?
We are in the medical art's building at 2000 van ness ave at jackson street. We work out of pacific height's skin care. We are unit #307 on the 3rd floor.  There is elevator an and stair access.

 

What is your cancelation policy?
I have a 24 hour cancelation policy.
